I decided to bring back the original Plush .357 “Kilo” packaging with a new graphic for my solo artshow on the 17th. Printed in extra limited quantities there will only be 30 shirts for guys and dolls alike. After recieving so many compliments and request on the old pasckaging, I decided it be best to bring it back for the moment, available for only $25. Lol, I’m sorry but I cant show ya’ll the actual t-shirt just yet, but I can promise it’s going to be exceptionally beautiful.

Tags: Plush .357, premium plus, RazanIconStyle and P Valentine organized a contest here in atlanta to determine Atlanta’s Most loved designer last week. The winner would get an article in the Atlantan Magazine and a window display at P Valentine, a local boutique here in Atlanta, owned by Big Boi of Outkast baby’s mother. I entered the contest not thinking much about it, at first there was an online poll open to the public to determine the semi-finalist. Alot of people supported and voted for me, I was suprised to find out that I was competing against actual fashion designers, people who could layout patterns, cut and sew their own couture garments. I’m simply a graphic designer, although I do plan on learning how to construct more complex clothing in the near future, I’ve pretty much been limited to mass market commercialism and t shirts. So I didn’t think I had a chance… Turns out I won! After displaying one piece on a live model, they choose me as ‘the city’s most loved designer’. Stating that time and fashion has changed, and right now there is more of a demand for urban or streetwear. She also took note of how professional our presentation and catalog was. lol, we actually hate our current catalog! But yeah, it was good fun, check out the pics….

Here’s the model, Courtney, rocking a Mammoth T-shirt and the Money Cat hoodie.

We had alot of people there to support Mach 5 and Plush .357, it was dope, we killed it. My swagger was on ten-thousand, I was really feeling myself that night and it showed. For those of you who dont know, Mach 5 is a rap group I’m apart of with my good friend, Aware. Check us out at Mach 5. We performed with of talented local artist including; Yung Bishop, Gripplayz and Proton.
Here’s Yung Bishop with Quintiana, she came through looking like 2 thousand stacks and Bishop muuurdered it! I was too busy getting drunk and high to remember to take pictures, sorry…

Big Mal, rocking some new Plush.

Charmin and Shamaine looking something like real beauty.

Hoes love city of ink!

Today we did the shoot for our new hoodies and crews, it was so fun, it’ll take a few days to get em edited, but I’ll try to get them up as soon as possible. I got tired of doing studio shots, so we decided to take outdoors this time. Where to? The Hood! Lol, we went to a neighborhood called Mechanicsville, a little south of downtown Atlanta. We found this abandoned industrial scenery and knew it was the perfect place. My good friend, Carla Aaron-Lopez, took the photos for us this time. We go to school together over at SCAD, shes dope! Her work is hella grimey so she went well with our theme. Here’s Carla!

But yeah this place was pretty crazy, ultra ghetto, I felt like I was somewhere in rural Alabama. Lol, nah really, we flew out to El Salvador. There was a church on every corner. Literally, weird one’s like this, The Perfect Church!

Isn’t that kind of an oxymoron? Somebody call Creflo!
Lol, this time I invited Proton to come out and model for us. They’re a sick ass rap group from Atlanta. Quality and Thomas. Check em out at myspace.com/proton2.
Hip-hop artist, Mike Flo, also came along to show some support. Chi-town native and member of the RBG family, he’s done music with Dred Prez and a mixtape with DJ Drama! You can find him at myspace.com/404mikeflo. Ohh check out them face tats, I did one of em!

Lol, of course my bestest friend, A.ware, came along for the shoot. Lol, you should see em, that nigga does not know what to do when you put him in front of a camera, he’s get’s a stiff and nervous. After awhile he relaxed though, and got his swagger up a bit. We found this abandoned bus and had to get it, I thought it was soo dope.

My homie, Kneesee, came out for me to take some shots. I love that girl, she’s hella cool. She works over at one of my favorite boutiques in Atlanta, called Wish, over in Little 5 Points. I go there to catch some exclusive sneakers and the occasional t-shirt.

We got alot feedback about our model, Quintiana aka MissPretty, so we had to bring her back. That’s my homie right there, shes so sweet, shes always so humble.

Finally, theres my friend Erin. She goes to Spelman, I meet her at the tattoo shop 2 years ago, back when I was an apprentice. So she has one of my earliest tats. It still looks pretty good!

lol, Aaron and Erin. A.ware loves the lady’s!

Check out the scenery!

Somebody please get these people a E!

A burned down building. I wonder what happened? Well… let’s just shoot here, because our shit is already pretty hot!

Here Come’s the train!

Thanks to everyone for coming out! I really appreciate it! Afterwards, A.ware and I went to grab a bit to eat at Gutbusters back over in the westend. They got these tasty chicken hoagies, and we needed some food, asap!

Trust me, they taste alot better then they look.

The Mach 5 album, Stepchild EP, is almost done! A.ware and I went to the studio last night to record a song with Dreamer. That guy is extra talented, the song came out pretty sick! Stepchild EP is like a crazy mixture of hip-hop, rock, and electronica, influenced by artist like Gorillaz, Kenna, and Outkast. It’s being released on January 22nd, so make sure you get you copy, I might make it available for download on the blog for a while… Afterwards, B Sterling showed us some of his new beats, this guy is a beast! He’s currently doing production for Hollyweerd and Dreamer..

Check out the new hair cut!

Once we left the studio, we both was starving so we went by Zaxby’s to grab some quick food. I had the Zaxby’s Club and he got some hot wings. Fucker could have got a full meal, stay away from my fries!

Finally, we got home to see the homie, James, who just got off work. Lol, here he is myspacin it up! Here’s some other shots of our crib, Plush .357 boxes are slowly taking over our living room, we need to get on our hustle!

After a few beers, I got back to work and started working on the cartoon. It was already 2am, but who needs sleep? I’m almost finished with the second Episode of the Skydiving Roaches! I plan on putting it up sometime this week. Everybody has been asking me about it, so I’m kinda stoked! It’s alot of work, man, I’m the only one doing the animation so I been pulling all nighters to get it done. It’ll be worth it in the end though, it’s way better than the first!

School starts tomorrow. I’m hella excited, this break was long and i miss my friends. So….. Goodnight folks!

So, I just got back from Washington DC yesterday. It’s a dope place I had alot of fun! First thing I noticed was the amazing architecture. Most of the houses looked like this:

Sorry, you’ll have to excuse the quality of these pics off my Treo, I still haven’t gotten a new camera. My friend, Oscar, told there’s some type of high restrict on the buildings, so people can’t snipe out the white house. So all the buildings are below 60 feet, I think…. He was like the perfect tour guide. He knew everything about the city’s culture and history and he’s a sick ass artist, supposed to be sending me some designs for plush. I cant wait to see what he comes up with.
But, we got there kinda late the first day so the tattoo shop, Pinz N Needlez, where I was doing a guest spot was closed. So the owner, Chris, decided to take us out for drinks. So we go to some place called the Go-Go Lounge, I’m thinking its just a bar, turns out its like a hole-in-the-wall strip club. Lol, but it was fun! I just didn’t expect to see a bunch of naked bitches…
After that, we went to a Madlib concert, we just heard about. It was crazy, there was this one DJ named Peanut Butter Wolf, who closed the show. He had a projector playing old hip hop videos that the scratched and mixed back and forth like a record. It was pretty tight, hard to explain. But you get the point..
hmm, what else was there… Mad Police, like everwhere you looked, crazy.. uhh, and the crosswalks had timers, I thought that was pretty cool, it seemed like everyone was walking. I cheated and ate some beef at Ben’s Chili. I had to taste it… ha! I didn’t have to time to check out any of the national monuments, or the great museums DC has to offer. I wish I did though.
The last day I was there I got a tattoo from my goodfriend, Yaz. He is an amazing artist, he hooked me up with an old school piece of a shark and an eagle, with a banner that says ‘Fly or Die, Sink or Swim’. Haha, Nerd. but it came out really nice, I love it!

Check it out. Honestly the picture does it no justice. I’ll load another once it heals up. If your ever in DC you should check em out! Here are some more pictures…
Here’s Chris

And here’s his shop

And here’s those cool crosswalks.

The Washington Monument

United States Capitol (wayy back there..)

I’m sleepy now. Goodnight.

I had a decent day today, spend some time getting the Skydiving Roaches ready for December. Then I started working on the new series, and I must say I’m pretty excited about it! After that I went to Lenox Mall to get some new sneakers, and found a dope pair of dunks. Which inspired me to do a totally new design so I could have something decent to match em. lol. It came out amazing, I must say I might be the hottest thing I made yet! Unfortunately, I can’t show you guys yet, gotta get it copy written, but check out these dunks, haha…
