‘The Good, The Bad and the Exceptionally Beautiful’ my first solo art show on April 17th @ City of Ink. It’s gonna be dope wait til you see what I got up my sleeve
The artshow was great, I had a good turn out, it was packed! I did a series of paintings, skateboards and t-shirts influenced by the popular american character, Jason Voorhees. I sold a few shirts, prints and skateboards, and I’m still negotiating on one of the paintings. Hopefully I can get it off my hands for a nice price! First off thanks to all my family, friends and all the people I don’t know who came out to support! Thank you to the artist, you guys did great! It’s an art exhibition I put together every year, I’d really like to do more, but I just don’t have time. This one was at City of Ink and featured artist like Dubelyoo, Miya Bailey, WAK, and Brandon Sadler. Enough typing, check out the pics… and the art..

Hello world, I am having my 3rd Annual Artshow this month, at City of Ink, called Schizophrenia. Alongside with internationally acclaimed artist including Miya Bailey, Dubelyoo, and WAK, I will displaying some of my lastest works. I will also be releasing my first set of limited edition skateboards, there are only 10, each numbered and signed by me! And a new limited edition Plush .357 shirt available only at that show, I can’t give you too many details, it’s a suprise and I don’t want to spoil it.The No Gimmicks Show @ Apache Cafe last week went great! We had alot of people there to support Mach 5 and Plush .357, it was dope, we killed it. My swagger was on ten-thousand, I was really feeling myself that night and it showed. For those of you who dont know, Mach 5 is a rap group I’m apart of with my good friend, Aware. Check us out at Mach 5. We performed with of talented local artist including; Yung Bishop, Gripplayz and Proton.
Here’s Yung Bishop with Quintiana, she came through looking like 2 thousand stacks and Bishop muuurdered it! I was too busy getting drunk and high to remember to take pictures, sorry…

Big Mal, rocking some new Plush.

Charmin and Shamaine looking something like real beauty.

James, getting to it early.

It’s time for us to perform, but where’s Corey?

There he is in some ultra exclusive Plush attire. Damn, I’m fly.

The crowd was really feeling our new single, H Bomb!

Everett James came out to rock out with us with some live guitar. Shouts out to DJ Mafioso,he showed us some real love.

Gripplayz, check out the Fli Pelican!

Here’s some footage if you missed the show
Check out these phenomenal photos Hannibal took of Muffy’s performance at Drunken Unicorn. She’s so beautiful.

Stole this pic of Aware and I from ohsnapkid.com, a local photographer, he’s great

Hoes love city of ink!

Today we did the shoot for our new hoodies and crews, it was so fun, it’ll take a few days to get em edited, but I’ll try to get them up as soon as possible. I got tired of doing studio shots, so we decided to take outdoors this time. Where to? The Hood! Lol, we went to a neighborhood called Mechanicsville, a little south of downtown Atlanta. We found this abandoned industrial scenery and knew it was the perfect place. My good friend, Carla Aaron-Lopez, took the photos for us this time. We go to school together over at SCAD, shes dope! Her work is hella grimey so she went well with our theme. Here’s Carla!

But yeah this place was pretty crazy, ultra ghetto, I felt like I was somewhere in rural Alabama. Lol, nah really, we flew out to El Salvador. There was a church on every corner. Literally, weird one’s like this, The Perfect Church!

Isn’t that kind of an oxymoron? Somebody call Creflo!
Lol, this time I invited Proton to come out and model for us. They’re a sick ass rap group from Atlanta. Quality and Thomas. Check em out at myspace.com/proton2.
Hip-hop artist, Mike Flo, also came along to show some support. Chi-town native and member of the RBG family, he’s done music with Dred Prez and a mixtape with DJ Drama! You can find him at myspace.com/404mikeflo. Ohh check out them face tats, I did one of em!

Lol, of course my bestest friend, A.ware, came along for the shoot. Lol, you should see em, that nigga does not know what to do when you put him in front of a camera, he’s get’s a stiff and nervous. After awhile he relaxed though, and got his swagger up a bit. We found this abandoned bus and had to get it, I thought it was soo dope.

My homie, Kneesee, came out for me to take some shots. I love that girl, she’s hella cool. She works over at one of my favorite boutiques in Atlanta, called Wish, over in Little 5 Points. I go there to catch some exclusive sneakers and the occasional t-shirt.

We got alot feedback about our model, Quintiana aka MissPretty, so we had to bring her back. That’s my homie right there, shes so sweet, shes always so humble.

Finally, theres my friend Erin. She goes to Spelman, I meet her at the tattoo shop 2 years ago, back when I was an apprentice. So she has one of my earliest tats. It still looks pretty good!

lol, Aaron and Erin. A.ware loves the lady’s!

Check out the scenery!

Somebody please get these people a E!

A burned down building. I wonder what happened? Well… let’s just shoot here, because our shit is already pretty hot!

Here Come’s the train!

Thanks to everyone for coming out! I really appreciate it! Afterwards, A.ware and I went to grab a bit to eat at Gutbusters back over in the westend. They got these tasty chicken hoagies, and we needed some food, asap!

Trust me, they taste alot better then they look.

The Mach 5 album, Stepchild EP, is almost done! A.ware and I went to the studio last night to record a song with Dreamer. That guy is extra talented, the song came out pretty sick! Stepchild EP is like a crazy mixture of hip-hop, rock, and electronica, influenced by artist like Gorillaz, Kenna, and Outkast. It’s being released on January 22nd, so make sure you get you copy, I might make it available for download on the blog for a while… Afterwards, B Sterling showed us some of his new beats, this guy is a beast! He’s currently doing production for Hollyweerd and Dreamer..

Check out the new hair cut!

Once we left the studio, we both was starving so we went by Zaxby’s to grab some quick food. I had the Zaxby’s Club and he got some hot wings. Fucker could have got a full meal, stay away from my fries!

Finally, we got home to see the homie, James, who just got off work. Lol, here he is myspacin it up! Here’s some other shots of our crib, Plush .357 boxes are slowly taking over our living room, we need to get on our hustle!

After a few beers, I got back to work and started working on the cartoon. It was already 2am, but who needs sleep? I’m almost finished with the second Episode of the Skydiving Roaches! I plan on putting it up sometime this week. Everybody has been asking me about it, so I’m kinda stoked! It’s alot of work, man, I’m the only one doing the animation so I been pulling all nighters to get it done. It’ll be worth it in the end though, it’s way better than the first!

School starts tomorrow. I’m hella excited, this break was long and i miss my friends. So….. Goodnight folks!
